Gutermann Maraflex Thread

Gutermann Maraflex is a high stretch elastic sewing thread suitable for use on household sewing machines. This thread type allows you to create straight stitch elasticated seams with ease, without the need of an overlocking machine.

Suitable for use with light to medium weight elastic & woven fabrics. Gutermann Maraflex thread comes as a 150m spool and is to be used as a needle & bobbin thread.

• 100% Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT)
• Up to 80% seam stretch
• The best straight seam elasticity is achieved with 4 stitches per cm
• Ideal for sewing round necklines & tight seams
• Recommended Needle – Jersey/stretch/Super Stretch NM 70-80

Suitable for washing at 60°C, tumble drying, dry cleaning and high heat ironing as well as bleaching.
